www.rogerjaeger.com
Roger is a young American songwriter who studied at the first Geetshala school for songwriters in Lonavla India. He has an amazing sensativity in his songwriting which is equally complimented by his outstanding live performances. Roger has a deep brooding way with words and uses a fascinating array of broken chords and guitar tunings to lay the foundation for his hauntingly beautiful melodies. He has been in India from 2005 through 2006 in which time he has gained a remarkable level of proficiency in the Sitar. Roger sees the huge potential of how music can be used to shed light on injustice and promote social reform. Watch this guy, he's making all the right noises.

Sewa Ashram has a hands-on approach to providing the poorest of the poor with hope and relief from the conditions that perpetuate their dehumanised state. Sewa Ashram is Delhi's only community-model rehabilitation centre where the patient is able to stay long-term: accepted and embraced as in a family to facilitate healing of the whole person.
